Creating a home away from home for Kiwi kids since 2009

Kelly Club was launched in New Zealand in 2009 to meet the gap in the market for quality child care programmes that offer flexible booking arrangements for busy parents. Our mission is to create a home away from home that kids love coming to, and that parents can trust to provide a caring and safe environment.

Our programmes revolve around activities like baking and cooking, sports and games, arts and crafts, science and discovery, along with structured free play and time to relax. We build a strong relationship with our partner schools, who we work closely with to ensure that Kelly Club is a great extension for the school and community. Our vision is that children throughout New Zealand will have the opportunity to experience a Kelly Club programme.

We’re dedicated to providing your kids with the very best in before- and after-school care.

A home away from home

We know that before- and after-school care is a necessity for many families. That's why our programmes wrap around the school day, creating a warm, supportive environment that makes your kids feel right at home.

Fun and educational

There’s always plenty to do at Kelly Club, from baking to artwork to sports and games. We have an extensive range of activities so no two days are the same, with hundreds of 'tried and true' craft, cooking and game activities. Plus, your kids get the opportunity to do their homework and relax after their busy day.

OSCAR approved by MSD

Kelly Club’s programmes meet the Ministry of Social Development’s Standards for Approval for OSCAR programmes, which means that if you qualify for an OSCAR subsidy, you can put it towards the cost of your Kelly Club membership. All our sites are reviewed annually to ensure the highest standards of performance and safety.

Peace of mind

All Kelly Club staff who work with children enrolled in our OSCAR programmes are police vetted, and these safety checks are repeated every three years. We are committed to the recognition and prevention of child abuse in our community and support the roles of statutory agencies such as Oranga Tamariki.

Kelly Club doesn’t just rent space at your school; we become a revenue-sharing partner that provides the school with a financial return as our programme grows.

And as a partner, we want to understand and embrace the vision, values and ethos of your school, weaving them through our programme to create an independently run extension of the school.

Cure Kids helps children live healthier, happier lives by funding more than $10 million worth of medical research across 60 different projects.

When we were looking for a charity with goals that aligned with our vision of providing kids with somewhere they can have fun and be educated in a safe and caring environment, Cure Kids stood out as an obvious choice.

We have a great working relationship with Cure Kids, and we love it when their child ambassadors come and spend time with our team. This helps to keep things real and gives us a first-hand opportunity to see how we are helping make a difference to the health of kids with life-threatening illnesses.
